AHRC 'Literature under Constraint' Network Launched

Monday 2 October 2017

Today marks the launch of IMLR’s latest research project, the AHRC-funded Research network 'Literature under Constraint'. Principal Investigator Dr Dominic Glynn (IMLR) and Co-Investigator Dr Sébastien Lemerle (Paris Nanterre) have been awarded £37,824 over 18 months to assemble a cutting-edge network of researchers and stakeholders (publishers, writers and librarians) from the UK, Europe and North America to investigate how literary production in France from 1980 to the present has been shaped by political, cultural and socio-economic constraints. To do so, the project will develop a robust methodology that combines textual analysis with sociohistorical study.

Researchers interested in joining the network or finding out more about the network’s activities are encouraged to sign up to the project’s newsletter by emailing LUC-REQUEST@JISCMAIL.AC.UK
