Annual Society for Pirandello Studies SPS Conference, 2022
Meta-Story a Hundred Years On: Beyond Short Fiction in Pirandello

The annual one-day conference of the Society for Pirandello Studies aims to embrace a wide variety of methods and approaches to Pirandello’s oeuvre, and to bring together theatre professionals, critics and scholars representing a range of disciplines. In the centenary of Nobel-prize-winning playwright Pirandello’s project for short fiction, Novelle per un anno, this year’s conference sheds light on Pirandello’s metafiction and its relation to more recent practices of (fiction/theatre) storytelling.
