Description

'Seine Lesungen sind Kult.' – Hessischer Rundfunk

A bilingual reading by the Swiss author and performer.

'His readings are legendary.' – Hessischer Rundfunk

Swiss author and performer Arno Camenisch will read from his novel Hinter dem Bahnhof [Behind the Station]. The story, about a childhood spent in the mountains of Graubünden [Grisons], is in the words of the respected Italian weekly Internazionale, ‘one of the most beautiful texts about childhood we have read in the last few years’. The same originality with which he uses words and imagery in his writing comes to the fore in his readings, which he delivers in his incomparable, melancholy though humorous style – the hallmark ‘Camenisch-Sound’.
