Description

Launched in 1987, the National Postgraduate Colloquium now meets twice a year, once at the IMLR in London, and once as the guest of another university in the UK. It provides a friendly and informal forum for graduate students in all areas of German Studies to present and discuss their current research, and make contact with students from other universities in the UK, across Europe and as far afield as the USA.

The keynote speaker at this meeting is Astrid Köhler (Queen Mary, University of London). The 2020 Sylvia Naish Lecture will be given on the evening of the first day by Katherine E. Calvert (Sheffield).
