Centre for Latin American and Caribbean Studies

This event brings together Latin American women across generations from artists and writers, community organisers, activists, mothers, teachers and students, to scholars working with the Latin American community in London.

The Conversatorio will offer an opportunity for sharing and learning the experiences of Latinx women in London from differing generational perspectives, educational backgrounds, and personal experiences, from the Chile Democrático to the British Latinx. 



Este conversatorio reúne a mujeres latinxs de varias generaciones, artistas, organizadoras comunitarias, activistas, madres, maestras y estudiantes, y académicas que trabajan con la comunidad latina en Londres.


El evento ofrecerá la posibilidad de compartir y conocer más sobre las experiencias migrantes de las mujeres latinxs en Londres, desde una perspectiva histórica intergeneracional e interseccional, desde el Chile Democrático a las nuevas generaciones de “British-Latinx”.
